After using swimming trunks, the following measures should be taken for proper storage to extend their service life:

Timely cleaning: After swimming, swim trunks should be rinsed immediately with clean water, especially chlorine gas and salt in the pool can cause damage to swim trunks. It is recommended to hand wash with warm water and neutral detergent, and avoid using washing machines and bleach.

Avoid direct sunlight: Swimmers should be kept away from direct sunlight and preferably dried in a cool and shady place. Direct sunlight can cause the swimsuit fabric to dry and become brittle, affecting its elasticity.

Proper storage: Swimmers should be folded or unfolded for storage, avoiding curling up or squeezing. When storing, keep away from chemicals such as cosmetics and laundry detergent. It is best to use a storage box and place desiccants.

Avoid moisture: Wet swim trunks should not be placed in bags for long periods of time to prevent spoilage and mold. After using a towel to absorb moisture, it should be placed flat in a well ventilated area for natural air drying.

Prepare multiple replacements: If you swim frequently, it is recommended to prepare multiple replacement swimsuits to give them time to recover their elasticity.
